We are excited to welcome Lauren Schofield as a Content Marketing Coordinator.
Lauren joins 97 Switch from Provo, Utah, where she attended Brigham Young University. She graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Lauren brings three years of experience in social media marketing and web writing. Before coming to 97 Switch, she worked at BYUradio, a national radio station with an audience of more than 56 million listeners, as a Social Media Manager for “The Lisa Valentine Clark Show.”
While in college, Lauren completed several different competitive internships. She had the opportunity to work at the longest-running newspaper in Utah, where she wrote articles that received over 30 thousand views. Later, she interned at an Emmy award-winning advertising agency managing several clients. She credits these internships with helping her gain valuable experience within the field of digital marketing.
As Content Marketing Coordinator, Lauren will oversee the content calendars, as well as closely track social media analytics. Also, she will serve as head content writer by editing and writing blogs, newsletters, and website content.
“I am thrilled to be a part of 97 Switch. My career has been spent preparing for a job in marketing where I can fully utilize my creative abilities,” said Lauren. “I feel that Jeremy and Josh are the ideal team for me to work with and I can’t wait to start.”
Lauren believes that digital marketing provides ways to communicate stories in fresh and innovative ways. She plans to brainstorm creative ideas that will boost content performance. As the newest team member at 97 Switch, she is excited to bring a unique perspective.
Additionally, Lauren is passionate about creating content that reaches perfection. She believes that content should take effort to create and be carefully thought-out. In the future, she hopes to create both beautiful and inspiring content for the people 97 Switch work with.
Since Lauren is new to Chicago, she plans to spend her time outside of work exploring the city. She plans to try new foods, visit museums, attend Broadway shows, and watch sporting events. When she’s not exploring the city, you can either find her playing soccer at a park or curled up reading a book at home.
Welcome to the team, Lauren!
