About the Partnership

theWit - A Hilton Hotel is a Four Diamond, multi-sensory hotel, featuring striking design and stunning views, located in downtown Chicago with its iconic location next door to the Chicago Theatre. Within the hotel, ROOF, State and Lake Chicago Tavern and Spa@theWit all have their own identity and unique story.

97 Switch has been the hotel’s digital partner across the entire property for 10+ years, building websites, providing digital marketing and strategy for all four businesses.

theWit Website

In 2019, theWit came to us to elevate their website to better convey the spirit of their space and to bring their marketing up to modern standards that showcased the unique hotel. We did this by leaning into large vertical images that show the unique details of the hotel so that the digital user experience is similar to what someone would have on property.

The website brings in thousands of bookings every year and helps ensure everything runs smoothly for theWit and its properties year round. The design is clean and shows off some of the best of what the hotel has to offer, and leaves an impression on potential customers.

ROOF on theWit Website

97 Switch created the website experience for ROOF on theWit, a glamorous escape set 27 stories above it all. The rooftop bar has earned international acclaim for its expressive design and entertainment, sweeping skyline views, and unique hand-crafted cocktails and cuisine. Rated Hotel Bar of the Year by Nightclub & Bar Awards and one of the Top 3 Rooftop Bars in the World by Travel+Leisure, ROOF continues to excite guests with world-renowned DJs, acoustic music series, and live runway shows.

The website features event calendars, menus, and more which are all kept constantly up to date. 97 Switch maintains the site and adds in new marketing features year round.

State and Lake Chicago Tavern Website

State and Lake Chicago Tavern's website strikes a balance between elevated cuisine and the homey spirit of your local pub, State and Lake Chicago Tavern serves elevated American tavern fare by Chef Steven Chiappetti and his culinary team.

The website highlights breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch menus crafted with care, alongside fine wine, exquisite cocktails and an unrivaled local beer selection.
